Srinagar, April 24 (KNO) : Senior Hurriyat Conference leader and Jammu Kashmir Peoples League senior vice chairman Mohammad Yaseen Ataiee has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the wife of Hurriyat Conference Convenor (Azad Kashmir Chapter) Ghulam Mohammad Safi. He expressed condolence and solidarity with the berevaed family and hailed the deceased’s contribution to freedom movement of Kashmir.
He also prayed for heavenly abode of the deceased. Jammu Kashmir Peoples League organised a condolence meeting in favour of the deceased and paid glowing tributes to her. JKPL Azad Kashmir Chapter chairman Sheikh Mohammad Yaqoob visited the residence of Ghulam Mohammad Safi and expressed condolence and solidarity with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, JKPL Mohammad Yasin Ataiee has strongly denounced the arrest of Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson Syeda Aasiya Andrabi and Sofi Fehmeeda. He also condemned the prolonged detention of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal, and slapping of PSA on other JKLF leaders Sirajuddin Mir and Ghulam Mohammad Mugloo and shifting them to Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu.
